Why we are building this
Every piece of wedding software is built for one of two people: the couple, or one vendor and their own client list. The couple gets registries and seating charts. The vendor gets a CRM with contracts and invoices in it.
Neither one covers the part of the job that involves everyone else. Twelve to fifteen businesses show up to the same wedding and have to agree, to the minute, on when the first look happens, when the room gets flipped, and who is allowed through the loading door at 2pm. That agreement currently lives in a Google Doc, a PDF export of the Google Doc, and a group text.
Runsheet is the tool for the space between vendors. One run of show that updates for everybody. One place for the contract, the floor plan and the COI. One thread instead of forty-seven phone numbers.
We are building it with photographers first, because they are on site for the entire day and feel a bad timeline before anyone else does. Planners, videographers, DJs, hair and makeup, florists and caterers come next.
It is early. If you work weddings and this sounds like your Saturday, we would like to talk to you. Join the founding members.
